1. Maithri Aquatech wins Telangana State Industry Award 2021 for ‘Best Startup’
Maithri Aquatech won ‘Gold’ in the 'Best Startup' category of the prestigious Telangana State Industry Awards 2021. The awards were presented by Shri KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Industry & Commerce, IT, E&C and Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Government of Telangana. Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), Telangana government was also present at the Event.
2. Maithri Aquatech participates in 5th Arab Water Forum
Maithri Aquatech, along with its strategic partner CONTEC Global through their brand "Beyond Water”, participated in the most important water-related event in the Arab region - The 5th Annual Arab Water Forum in Dubai on 21-23 September 2021. It was organised by UAE's Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, with the theme being "Arab Water Security for Peace and Sustainable Development”. Maithri Aquatech MD and Founder, Mr. M Ramkrishna and CEO Mr. Naveen Mathur, along with Mr. Lee Brett, Chief Business Officer, CONTEC Global were invited to showcase their Atmospheric Water Generator solution and discuss how it can help build Water Security in the MENA region.
3. Maithri Aquatech invited to G-STIC Conference at Dubai
The G-STIC (Global Sustainable Technological and Innovation Community) Conference is jointly hosted by VITO (the prime research and technology organization on cleantech and sustainable development in Belgium) and 7 other not-for-profit independent technology research institutes with the aim of accelerating wide-scale deployment of market-ready integrated technological solutions that can have an impact on the achievement of the SDGs. As part of the G-STIC held at the World Expo in Dubai, TERI had organized a deep dive session on water, focusing on technological and policy interventions for nature-based solutions. Maithri Aquatech’s CEO, Mr. Naveen Mathur spoke as a panelist in this session, on the subject Harmonizing nature-based solutions for water security. The panel included eminent speakers like Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti and Ms. D Thara, Joint Secretary, Ministry of House and Urban Affairs.

4. Maithri Aquatech invited to speak at the Indian Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai
Maithri Aquatech was invited as part of the Urban Week Delegation from India led by Mr Durga Shanker Mishra (Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India), at a session organised by FICCI at the Indian Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. Maithri Aquatech CEO, Mr. Naveen Mathur was a panelist in the session on “Building Smart Liveable and Sustainable Cities”; the panel included, among other eminent speakers, Mr. Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary & Mission Director (Smart Cities Mission), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and Mr Renato De Castro (Smart City Senior Partner, RMA Advisory, UAE).

5. Maithri Aquatech invited to be a part of Man'Exe 2021
Maithri Aquatech participated in a Conference on '“Re-imagining Manufacturing: Technology in driving Manufacturing Resilience and Excellence”, as part of Man’ Exe at Hyderabad. Maithri Aquatech's Director - Business, Sanjay Bobde was a panelist for the session 'Unlock potential of MSMEs for Future growth through Digital Technologies & Industry 4.0'.
6. Maithri Aquatech invited to represent India’s water industry at an international webinar with III (Institute for Information Industry), Taiwan.
Mr. Naveen Mathur, CEO, Maithri Aquatech, spoke on the discussion topic - ‘India-Taiwan Collaboration Opportunity on Water Technologies’ at this webinar organised by FICCI.
7. Virtual Exhibition of MEGHDOOT in the second edition of the ADB e-marketplace
Maithri Aquatech was invited for a second time by Asian Development Bank (ADB) to virtually exhibit and pitch its solution MEGHDOOT in the second edition of the ADB e-marketplace as part of the "Conserving Water Resources and Building Resilience" group.

Collaborations, Launches and Visits
1. Maithri Aquatech creates a new bottled water category - Water from AIR
For the first time in the world, a packaged water bottling plant will utilize air to meet its water requirements. The plant has been helped set up by Maithri Aquatech for USATA Enterprises Pvt Ltd on a turnkey basis. Both the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) have approved the plant and the water, again a first in India. Another first in the world is how the bottling plant is meeting its cooling requirements. As a side product of the water generation process, Maithri Aquatech’s MEGHDOOT also generates cool air, which will provide central cooling to the Water Testing Lab and the Bottling area, bringing down and maintaining the temperature between 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.
2. Maithri Aquatech collaborates with Masdar Institute, Khalifa University
We are excited to announce a new collaboration between Maithri Aquatech and Masdar Institute at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE for their foundational research on the use of AWG products for mass scale water production in the middle east region. Maithri Aquatech's AWG products will be utilized for this groundbreaking work. The project will be led by globally acclaimed expert in the field of renewable energy, Dr. Samuel Mao, Senior Director at Masdar Institute.
3. MEGHDOOT installed at Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bengaluru
Rotary Club Whitefield Central Chapter and Maithri Aquatech’s strategic partner ATFSC (Applying Technology For Social Change) Foundation installed a MEGHDOOT Water from Air system at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium (JNP) in Bengaluru.
4. MEGHDOOT installed in the Prime Minster's Constituency in Varanasi by TERI
Maithri Aquatech’s strategic partner The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) installed Maithri Aquatech's MEGHDOOT in the Prime Minister's constituency in Varanasi, to provide clean, drinking water to the general public and visitors. It was inaugurated in September 2021 by the Mayor of Varanasi, Smt. Mridula Jaiswal.
5. USAID Mission Director to India and US Consul General visit Maithri Aquatech's MEGHDOOT Water Knowledge Resource Center (WKRC) in Vizag
USAID Mission Director to India, Ms. Veena Reddy along with the US Consul General, Joel Reifman visited Maithri Aquatech’s Mobile Water from Air Kiosk in Vizag, installed as part of their SEWAH initiative in alliance with the Safe Water Network (SWN).
